5 things
that bring joy

11/8/2026

ive decided that i will do all i can to not be a chud.

the face of a chud <-- chud

in that pursuit, i am going to do my best to enjoy my life. this post is one way i will do it.

by counting the small joys of my life

to be honest, this was inspired by Speeed's video.

so here are my 5 small things that make life better

  1. 1. blue skies in the morning and evening

    blue skies

lower humidity, sun is brighter, the walk to work from the station is a little more picturesque. then on the way home you'll have a beautiful sky, punctuating the end of a good day. since there are no clouds, that means when the sun is on the horizon the world is stained yellow, like a sepia photo

  2. 2. cycling with friends

    gojo cycling with geto

this is super underrated. a lot of people think activities like this are childish and "ah i have a better use for my time" but let's be honest - very few things top the experience of cycling at night in the city with your mates. see the lights, the cool breeze, sit by the bay, end it off with a breezer/cider/beer and a cup of instant noodles

  3. 3. waking up early in the morning

    full english mmm

it's greaaat. no rushing, making my own breakfast. hashbrowns, eggs, tomatoes, a sausage, toast, and a cup of iced coffee. showering and cleaning up for the day, watch the sun stream through my windows. though... sometimes we have a crazy fucker in the morning who keeps yelling and slamming his toilet bowl lid. it echoes through the apartment blocks lol. i have a little joy also imagining him falling to his death. fuck that guy.

you should totally try waking up earlier and having a full breakfast

  4. 4. dancing to upbeat music (by yourself or with a friend)

    skip and loafer dancing

it's cool to let loose and kinda enjoy the moment and not feel super self conscious. even better when someone accepts your more intimate, lesser known sides. also it's fucking stupid and gay to not be able to relax and dance a little.

  5. 5. walks

    death stranding

one of the best things for your mental health. seriously. also you get to explore the environment around you (or wherever you are). im a little of a tour guide for my friends. ive walked around the city many, many times. exploring and seeing small interesting businesses, cool new spots to check out, etc. great for your health too. get your 10k steps in.

those are my 5 small, easy things to do to have a better day, or life.

i'll probably have more.
