work stuff has died down a bit
this means i can focus more on other things
like maybe finishing my games, or figuring out how to do ecommerce without having to pay for too much (stripe and some simple js?)
it'll be cool if i can do it with simple html and js :D
can also start working on a request i received regarding making a desktop application
i'm planning to build it with electron, and hopefully over this week i have some time to sit through a short electron tutorial
the day's reflections
it's kinda odd that i plan to write my reflections here and someday strangers will likely read this, although i doubt any will for the foreseeable future
i just want to say for the first time in a long time, my life is moving forward.
work is good, relationship is good, money is not tight.
there is room to breathe.
my mum isn't too happy with the thought of me not turning my gf into my religion since i plan to marry her but honestly 20 years later i'm not even sure if my parents will still be around but that regret of letting go something as good and hard to come by like this is going to haunt me til i die.
so it doesn't matter.
i shall do what i want
found an artist
i've also commissioned an indonesian artist to design the first character to go on my merch!
can't wait to see it, it should arrive around 1 jan 2025.
once that's done, i'll have to order inventory, then once the first batch arrives, take some marketing images, then set up the store page for the item, then start marketing.
as long as it's all under $1000, i think it's a worthy venture.
i don't have to make the money back, though that will be nice
i just wna sell what i think is cool and also gauge how well the reception to these items are
